Description:
The Chunnagurawad are a Scheduled Tribe found in the state of Kerala in India. They are a sub-group of the Nair community. The Chunnagurawad are believed to be descendants of the ancient Vedda people. They speak the Chunnagurawadi language, a member of the Dravidian family. The Chunnagurawad are mainly agriculturalists, growing rice, coconut, and other crops. They also practice traditional animist beliefs. The Chunnagurawad are a small community and are not well-known outside of Kerala.
