History:

Gujaratis are an ethnic group of India, originating from the state of Gujarat.
The history of the Gujarati people dates back to the Mahabharata period, when they are believed to have been part of the Aryan tribes that moved from Central Asia to India. The Gujaratis are believed to be descended from the ancient Gurjaras, an Indo-Aryan people who migrated to the region around the 5th century CE.
