History:
The Jamuniyes are a Hindu community of North India, mainly found in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. They are also known as Jumaniyas, Jamuniyas, or Jumans.
The Jamuniyes are believed to be descendants of the Rajputs of Rajasthan. They are believed to have migrated to the North Indian states in the 17th century and settled there.

The Jamuniyes are a patriarchal community and follow a strict code of conduct. They practice arranged marriages and the bride's family is expected to pay a hefty dowry. They are also very religious and celebrate major Hindu festivals such as Diwali and Holi.
The Jamuniyes are a very traditional and conservative community. They adhere to strict gender roles and expect women to dress modestly and cover their head when in public. They also observe a caste system and do not allow inter-caste marriages.
The Jamuniyes are divided into several sub-groups based on their occupations. These include the Baraiyas, the Khatiks, the Khatris, the Jats, the Sainis, and the Bishnois.
