History:

The Naganoors are a sub-caste of the Nair caste, who are part of the larger Malayali community of Kerala.
The Naganoors are believed to have descended from the Nairs of the Pandya kingdom in southern India. They were traditionally warriors and landowners, and are believed to have been granted land by the kings of the region.

Description:

The Naganoors are known for their strong sense of community and family values. They are also known for their devotion to the Hindu faith, and they celebrate many of the traditional festivals of the Hindu religion.
The Naganoors follow many of the traditional customs of the Nair caste. They practice arranged marriages, and the groom's family is expected to pay a dowry to the bride's family. They also practice a form of matrilineal inheritance, where the property is passed down through the female line.
The Naganoors are found in many parts of Kerala, and are also known by different names, such as Nagam and Nagar.
