History:

Purnajis are an Indian caste from the state of Gujarat.
The Purnajis are believed to be descendants of the Rajputs, a warrior caste from northern India. They are also believed to have descended from the ancient Kshatriyas, a warrior caste of the Vedic period.

Description:

Purnajis have a strong cultural identity and are known for their loyalty and strong work ethic. They are primarily Hindu and practice traditional Hindu customs and rituals. They also have a unique style of dress, which includes brightly coloured turbans and long flowing robes.
Purnajis practice a variety of customs and traditions. They celebrate festivals such as Diwali, Holi and Navratri, and observe the Hindu caste system. They also practice arranged marriages and observe traditional gender roles.
