History:

The Suryvans are a Hindu caste found mainly in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in India. They are traditionally involved in agricultural activities and are considered to be a sub-caste of the Kshatriya (warrior) varna.
The Suryvans trace their ancestry to the legendary Suryavanshi kings of ancient India, who were believed to be descended from the sun god Surya. The Suryavanshi kings ruled over several parts of India from the 8th century BCE to the 4th century CE.
