History:
The Thoothika community is an ancient group of people from the southern Indian state of Kerala. It is believed that the Thoothikas are descendants of the ancient Tamil people who migrated to the region during the Sangam period (300 BC to 300 AD).
The Thoothikas are believed to have been a part of the Chera dynasty, which was one of the three major dynasties in South India during the Sangam period. The Thoothikas are also believed to have been a part of the powerful Ays dynasty, which ruled Kerala from the 8th to the 12th centuries.
