History:

The Tribhovans are a Hindu Brahmin clan found mainly in the Indian states of Gujarat and Maharashtra. The name Tribhovan is derived from the Sanskrit words Tri meaning ‘three’ and Bhovana meaning ‘abode’.
Tribhovans are believed to have descended from the sage Bharadwaja, one of the seven ancient sages (Saptarishis) of Hinduism. The Tribhovan Brahmins are said to have migrated from the banks of the river Ganges in North India to Gujarat and then to Maharashtra.

Tribhovans are known for their strong religious beliefs and strict adherence to Hindu rituals and customs. They are also known for their knowledge of Sanskrit and Vedic literature.
Tribhovans observe various religious customs including the daily recitation of mantras and prayers, performing puja rituals, and observing fasts. They also observe the traditional festivals of Diwali, Holi, and Dusshera.
Tribhovans are divided into two major sub-groups namely, the Deshastha and the Konkanastha. The Deshastha are found mainly in Maharashtra while the Konkanastha are found in Gujarat.
