The Vanganoors are an ancient community from the state of Kerala in India. They are believed to have originated from the ancient kingdom of Vengurla in the Konkan region.
The Vanganoors trace their ancestry back to the 9th century AD, when their ancestors settled in the present day state of Kerala. They were originally a warrior clan and served in the armies of the kings of Kerala. They were also involved in trade and commerce.
