The Chirarams are a traditional agricultural caste. They are also involved in trade and commerce. They are a community of Vaishnava Hindus. They are found in the districts of Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore, Prakasam, Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam.
